What If Your Reputation Could Follow You?
For years, the internet has asked us to prove who we are.
- Username.
- Email.
- Phone number.
- Wallet address.
- Verification badge.
But there’s another question we rarely ask:
What have you actually done?
Think about it.
Two people can create a wallet today.
One spends months helping people, building things, contributing to communities, showing up when nobody is watching.
The other arrives five minutes ago.
From the outside, they can look exactly the same.
Same wallet.
Same profile.
Same starting point.
But they aren’t the same.
Their history is different.
And that history should mean something.
The internet has a memory problem.
We have built platforms where followers can be bought, engagement can be manufactured, accounts can be abandoned, and identities can be recreated overnight.
We’ve become very good at measuring attention.
We’re still figuring out how to measure trust.
That matters even more as more of our lives move onchain.
Your wallet is no longer just somewhere you keep assets.
It can become a record of your interactions, your contributions, the things you’ve built, the communities you’ve participated in, and the people you’ve helped.
@base is already exploring this direction through infrastructure for identity and real-person verification, while onchain identities such as Basenames are designed to become persistent profiles that can grow with a person’s activity.
But infrastructure is only part of the story.
The bigger question is:
WHAT DO WE DO WITH IT?
Imagine a city where your actions matter.
- Not your wallet balance.
- Not how many followers you have.
- Not how loudly you can promote yourself.
Your reputation.
You help someone find their way → it matters.
You contribute to a community → it matters.
You build something people use → it matters.
You consistently show up → it matters.
You break trust → that matters too.
Not because a centralized authority tells everyone who you are.
But because your actions gradually tell the story for you.
That’s the idea behind Komi City.
A digital city built around a simple belief:
- Your reputation should be worth something.
We’re not interested in building another place where everyone starts with a blank profile and tries to convince everyone else that they’re important.
We’re interested in what happens when your history becomes part of your identity.
Where trust can become an asset.
Where contribution can become visible.
Where reputation can open doors.
And where the people who consistently create value aren’t forced to start from zero every time they enter a new community.
Welcome to Komi City.
We’re still building the city.
The streets aren’t finished.
The gates haven’t opened.
And there is still a lot we haven’t shown you.
But if you’ve ever wondered what the internet would look like if your actions mattered as much as your wallet, you might want to keep an eye on this place.
Komi City is coming to @base
And in Komi…
Your reputation counts.

A word on my own behalf: This whole GROK AI hype is really starting to get on my nerves. We already have so many posts with retouched and altered images; why is this getting out of hand? Nothing is real anymore because it's cheap to create. And what's fake and what's real? It's hard to tell at first glance. I'm going to ignore all GROK posts and focus on the ones that still seem somewhat real. I hope you agree and will also ignore these mass fakes.
One thing that I’ve noticed in training multiple times a week and doing cardio other days is my body is coming along and I look and feel better but my biceps are getting so big that shirts look weird lol

When you learn that everyone is trying on SM is trying to get a reaction to make money or push a version of the truth they don't really believe you put the phone down for 90% of your life and touch grass.
Truth.
