research on “Sustainability Consumer and Farming
Practices: A Multi-Country Analysis Using Discrete
Choice Experiments.”

looked at environmental labels in supermarket baskets,
suboptimal produce to reduce food waste,
climate-resilient olive farming and more sustainable
coffee production.

🌱 On April 30, 2026, the CHOICE project hosted an experiential workshop at the 1st Second Chance School of Larissa, Greece, bringing together university students and adult learners.

Through interactive activities and discussions, participants explored the connections between 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬, 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐭����, 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞, 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡, and 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞.
✨ Led by 𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐈𝐂𝐄 Ambassador Dr. Ilias Karachalios, the workshop included interactive activities and group discussions that encouraged participants to reflect on sustainable food choices, food waste, and the social and environmental dimensions of everyday decision-making.

From 14–17 April 2026, the 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝑩𝒊𝒐𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒈𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 brought together experts to discuss biodiversity, agricultural resilience and knowledge transfer.

📍 On 15–16 April, Raquel González Álvarez-Ossorio from the R&D&I department of Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de Andalucía, presented a CHOICE poster, showcasing the activities of the Spanish pilot in Andalusia.
