this is how i ACTUALLY set up phones before posting to a US audience on tiktok 🇺🇸
1. get a cheap used iphone 11, it's usually around $50, and factory reset it
2. set the phone up in region United States
3. skip the Apple ID for now take the SIM out and turn off location, bluetooth, tracking, Siri + Screen Time
4. get a residential US proxy (New York / Miami reigon usually works) IPRoyal is the best place
5. Run the up theough Shadowrocket on iphone, it's like $3 and it’s easily the cleanest option
6. make sure the proxy is connected BEFORE you install anything
7. open Safari and make a fresh email then use that email to create a new Apple ID
8. go to:
Settings → General → Language & Region → United States
then:
Settings → General → Date & Time → turn off “Set Automatically” → choose a US city
9. download TikTok and sign up with the fresh email
10. quick check before finishing signup:
tap “phone number” first
if TikTok automatically shows +1, that’s the check we use to see if the setup is reading as US ✅
then switch back to email and finish creating the account
11. DO NOT post immediately warm the account up for around 4 days first
EVERYONE should run this setup when aiming for US audience
i've been researching these faceless 3d mannequin videos on tiktok for like a week trying to figure out why they work so well...
the one i broke down is 5.7 seconds long. it's a grey mannequin in blue boxing gloves throwing a jab, cross, hook on a black background, and the counter on screen pops up with every punch so you end up counting along without realizing it. by the time it loops you've watched it three times
i was sure it needed a 3d animator. it doesn't.. seedance 2.5 makes the whole thing from one prompt, and honestly the hardest part was getting the character to stay identical across the cut (it kept giving him a different face until i told it he has no face at all, which is kind of funny)
the part people are sleeping on is that this format isn't really about boxing. swap the gloves for your brand color and the punches for whatever your app does and you've got a content series for a fitness app, a habit tracker, a saas tool, anything. i'd bet half the faceless app pages blowing up right now are running some version of this
so i turned my prompt into a template:
> the exact seedance 2.5 prompt
> how to swap it for fitness, yoga, productivity, and saas apps
> the 10 minute capcut edit that makes it loop
> how to run it as a numbered series so people binge your page
RT + reply "PROMPT GUIDE" and i'll send it over...
i built a skill to un-slop AI-looking apps
most AI-generated UIs still have the same problem:
they look polished, but they also look obviously AI-made
same cards
same gradients
same generic “modern app” layout
same zero-personality design
so this skill forces claude to actually think differently than it would normally do
→ starts from a real visual concept
→ explores 3 different directions
→ picks one coherent design language
→ renders the screens at iPhone size
→ scans the result for obvious AI-slop patterns
→ critiques and refines it before you ship
when everyone is shipping ai slop apps, yours has to be different to succeed
i’m giving the full skill away for free
rt + comment “stop slop” and i’ll send it over
(follow so i can dm)
this has become one of my most used prompts recently:
> restate in your own words what you think my goals are and what the problem i'm trying to solve is
Be so delusional that reality has no choice but to bend to your vision.
Be such a psychopath that you believe anything is possible for your life.
Be so obsessed that people think you've completely lost your mind.
Be so relentless that giving up doesn't even cross your mind as an option.
Be so committed that your worst-case scenario is still better than average.
Be so focused that distractions physically can't penetrate your attention.
Be so ambitious that mediocrity becomes your biggest nightmare.
A reminder from The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson:
“Happiness comes from solving problems. The keyword here is "solving." If you're avoiding your problems or feel like you don't have any problems, then you're going to make yourself miserable. If you feel like you have problems that you can't solve, you will likewise make yourself miserable. The secret sauce is in the solving of the problems, not in not having problems in the first place. To be happy we need something to solve. Happiness is therefore a form of action; it's an activity.”
refuse to settle. there is a version of reality that matches your wildest vision, down to the atoms. don't let fatigue trick you into accepting a smaller room. demand the whole fucking house.
