Why?

[Clinker Scott @ClinkerScott]

@doug_wk @david_parker Elections Alberta claims it to be as low as 7.5% of registered electors.

It'll be interesting to see the vote results from Oct 19 with the protection of anonymity.

@DuaneBratt They're mostly Sikhs & brown men except for the lone good-looking woman in yellow in the middle.

They probably don't even know what Canadian Thanksgiving is.

You are unbelievable professor. Rage baiting suicidal empathizer.

You're destroying your country.

[Clinker Scott @ClinkerScott]

@Tablesalt13 Seems like everyday happemings are about to get violent soon between ethnicities. Like inside prisons.

[Clinker Scott @ClinkerScott]

@Landonforward14 Why aren't all Councillors doing this? Thanks Landon.

[Clinker Scott @ClinkerScott]

@CoryBMorgan Target a handful of ridings that might actually vote for an Independence Party. Do not run candidates in all ridings. Start with 5 to 10 max.

Win at least 1 seat.

[Clinker Scott @ClinkerScott]

@WesternStandard Target ridings that have the best chance of electing a candidate of an Independence Party.

Start with 5 to 10 of the 87 ridings. Try and win at least one. More than 1 would be a major bonus. Do not run candidates in other ridings.

@EmmaJoNYC Alberta cancels its culture.
Skiing & rodeo is Alberta.
Cancelled. Makes no sense.

@ericvideos91 Ben Trudeau argues this point. He's right.

[Clinker Scott @ClinkerScott]

@CalgaryDave Why are some Independents so obsessed with fighting against conservative premiers of Alberta who support sovereignty within Canada?

Fighting FOR the benefits of Independence is much more effective than fighting against conservative leaders.

I know few agree with this position.

[Clinker Scott @ClinkerScott]

@jkenney Language is critical to a culture. Quebec has strong language protection laws leading to a strong cultural identity.

I'll bet referendum #3 results in their freedom from confederation.

[Clinker Scott @ClinkerScott]

@echipiuk Kenney has a way of getting under everybody's skin regardless of political leanings. I don't care for him but he does have some good ideas once in a while.

[Clinker Scott @ClinkerScott]

@CTVNews Thid is a main reason Canada has mass immigration levels right now.

Canadian society is going to look & be more & more foreign in the near future.

[Clinker Scott @ClinkerScott]

@jkenney I agree with you here. The Independence campaign has been a failure. I think the focus should shift towards growing an electoral mandate as you have pointed out.

[Clinker Scott @ClinkerScott]

@DreaHumphrey A trans-identifying person?
Again?

[Clinker Scott @ClinkerScott]

@AlliAlliG Lol. Do you hate Albertans who support Independence? Is it a hate thing for you?

[Clinker Scott @ClinkerScott]

@Prairielily22 Totally agree. Few do.

Independence has zero elected representatives. Zero electoral mandate.

Independents believe they can hijack & enforce their way to success. It won't work.

This is an unpopular & lonely position to take with Independents. Thanks for your thoughts.

[Clinker Scott @ClinkerScott]

@KMazeroll @JeffreyRWRath @Prairielily22 The hijacking, if successful, will fail & deliver an NDP victory.

Independents need to create a new political party. Try & win a few seats in 2027. Go from zero representation to something. Simple.

[Clinker Scott @ClinkerScott]

@KMazeroll @JeffreyRWRath @Prairielily22 Conservatives voted in the 2023 general election for the UCP, their platform & their leader because it stands for sovereignty within a united Canada.

The 'base', those who bought UCP memberships, see an opportunity to take over the UCP governing federalist party. A hijacking.
