Westfield, Indiana is building a tunnel under 161 St. for the Monon Trail. I love the way our Hamilton County communities have grade separated this busy trail at key arterial streets. It's safer and much more pleasant.

America's biggest migration winners in 2026 are not what you think.

It's not Florida.

It's not Tennessee.

It's not Arizona.

Instead, it's affordable in Midwest markets like Indianapolis, Columbus, Louisville, and Minneapolis.

They're topping of the table of BofAs Q1 2026 migration report.

These previously low-growth markets are now significantly outpacing the Sun Belt boomtowns in terms of net people moving in.

Americans are no longer moving because of the weather, or because of vibes. Instead, they're moving closer to home and where there is true affordability.

Real estate investors and home builders should take note. These migration trends are likely to persist for the next several years and will reshape home price and rent growth going forward.
