Double your rate of failure and get feedback.
I've always believed that the saying: "practice makes perfect" is flawed.
It should be "practice and feedback makes perfect." You can never really access how good or bad you're becoming without feedback.
Most companies think hiring remotely from Africa means dealing with accents, bad internet, and time zone chaos. None of those are real problems anymore. They're just the reasons people give for staying comfortable.
A candidate once asked to screen-share during "tell me about yourself."
We hesitated for a second.
Then she ran a 30-second slideshow timed perfectly to her own voice.
We hired her before the interview ended. Preparation isn't a soft skill. It's the whole skill.
Unpopular opinion: most companies don't have a talent shortage. They have a search radius problem.
We've placed talent across customer support, IT, sales, and ops into US, UK, and Australian companies, and trained corporate teams on everything from presentation skills to credit risk.
If you're building a team or need your people sharper, this is what we do. DM open.
Put someone where every problem's already solved, and thriving becomes the one problem left.
To every founder, job seeker, and PhD student in the hard part: don't give up. The problem in front of you isn't in your way — it's the way.
Imagine owning a shop where people walk in every day...
They look around, they even check a particular item, ask nothing, and leave.
And you never speak to them. You don't even bother asking if something else might interest them.
*That is LinkedIn for most job seekers.*
Someone views your profile. You see the notification. Then… nothing.
You wait for them to message you.
They probably won’t.
*A profile view is not a job. It is an opening.*
Someone just noticed you.
Now go start the conversation.
Don’t just apply. Reach out. Follow up.
As a founder, I know the feeling.
You're growing. You need people. But hiring slows everything down. It's a distraction when you should be focused on product.
That's why we built the system to remove that friction.
Hiring shouldn't be your bottleneck
THREAD: The Hiring Mistake Every Founder Makes
"1/ Founders hire fast, promote based on potential, then wonder why their remote team fell apart.
Here's what I'm seeing: they're not hiring wrong. They're just not building the infrastructure to keep people.
A thread on what actually matters. 🧵
