Harford special ops technicians recently practiced a trench rescue. It's not as simple as climbing in the hole & pulling out the victim. Walls are stabilized and 1st responders can only work in the protected areas. They practice to provide the best response in a real emergency.

10/22: Engine 112, Tanker 1, Chief 1-1 & Chief 1-2 with 11 volunteers handled a vehicle fire on Rt 22 in the area of Rt 136. Engine 112 stretched their front bumper line and quickly extinguished the fire. Engine 113 with 4 additional volunteers was cancelled while enroute

Engine 113, Tanker 1, Supply 1 & Chief 1 with 9 volunteers assisted @Darlington_VFC with a dwelling fire in the 4100blk of Conowingo Rd shortly after noon today.

1: Shorty after 10pm on 3/27, the Level Volunteers were alerted for a dwelling fire in the 3100blk of Harmony Church Rd. Engine 112 arrived with nothing evident from Side A. The crew stretched a 300ft pre-connect handline while the officer conducted a 360.

1: Just after 1400hrs On 3/30/24, @HarfordCoDES Dispatchers, dispatched Level for 2 engines for a "small shed on fire" in the 500blk of Aldino Stepney Rd. Chief 1-1 arrived with a 40x50 garage with fire showing.

Engine 112, Rescue Engine 1, Tanker 1, Supply 1, Rescue 1 & Chief 1-1 with 18 volunteers are currently operating on a working fire in the 500blk of Aldino Stepney Rd. Chief 1-1 went on scene with a 30x30 garage with fire showing. Use caution in the area.

On March 21st, @HarfordCoDES held their annual awards ceremony at the Level VFC Banquet Hall. During the event, DES employees & Volunteer Fire Department Members were presented citations for various incidents.

3/27: Level Volunteers are currently operating on a “First Due” Dwelling Fire in the area of Harmony Church Road. Engine 112 arrived with a 2-Story Dwelling with “Nothing Evident” and upon the 360 Size-up, it was quickly upgraded to a “Working Fire”. (1/2)
