This country might be about to have its 6th Prime Minister in 7 years.
Why? Because they’ve all failed to take on a rigged economic system that enriches the few at the expense of us all.
People want a society where children don’t go hungry. That is really not too much to ask.
The Prime Minister says his government has got "the big political decisions right". Let's go through them.
The government chose to cut welfare so it could spend even more on weapons and war.
The government chose to demonise the sick and disabled.
The government chose to keep children in poverty until it was dragged kicking and screaming to finally scrap the two-child benefit cap.
The government chose not to bring water into public ownership, not to tax wealth and not to implement rent controls.
The government chose to arm Israel and participate in genocide.
The government chose to let the US use British air bases for its war crimes in Iran.
The government chose to let Palantir get its hands on our NHS.
The government chose to scapegoat migrants and refugees for its own failures.
Poverty, inequality and genocide. Those are the government's big decisions. And that is how this government will be remembered.
If that's the speech Starmer needed to save his premiership, he is sunk.
Equating the Greens with Reform will infuriate voters who abandoned Labour.
The man who kicked pensioners and disabled people says: "We got the big political decisions right".
Incoherent and dull.
Mandelson played a key role in the faction that sought to align Labour with the interests of the billionaire class. That's why he was appointed Ambassador - and why I was opposed. If we continue down this path we risk a downward spiral from which it may be difficult to recover.
Possibly the most bizarre intervention from anyone over madcap period of last 48 hours was Margaret Hodge on Newsnight depicting the attempt by Keir Starmer’s office to secure an ambassadorship for Matthew Doyle as some sort of redeployment scheme for unemployed No 10 staff.
Keir Starmer, you have allowed my party, the party of Keir Hardie, Clem Attlee, Aneurin Bevan, Harold Wilson, Barbara Castle, Tony Benn to be dragged into the gutter by Mandelson, McSweeney, Simons & Labour Together. We need an independent inquiry into LT & its influence.
Why was Mandelson appointed despite everything known about him?
Because it served a tiny faction in the Labour Party - backed by big business donors - who wanted him at the heart of power as part of their plan to shift the party away from what a real Labour government should be.
Tonight I voted to defend trial by jury, a cornerstone of our justice system and one of the very few ways for ordinary people to hold the power of the state to account.
The courts backlog wasn’t caused by juries. It was caused by years of cuts and court closures.
Scrapping jury trials won’t fix the problem.
And it wasn’t in our manifesto.

Sunlight is the best disinfectant - and what’s been exposed shows McSweeney’s operation is rotten to the core.
We’re told the adults are in the room. If this is their idea of leadership, No. 10 needs gutting from top to bottom.

This government is collapsing. Amidst all the horrific detail that’s emerged at least we are alive to witness the downfall, in real time, of the Labour Right. The most malign faction in the history of British politics, one that’s done untold damage to this country when in power
Under my leadership of the Labour Party, Peter Mandelson had no role, no influence and no part to play, because I do not trust the man and I do not believe the man.
WASPI women aren't asking for favours. They're asking for fairness.
The Ombudsman found they were treated unjustly and should be compensated. Refusing to act on that breaks trust and leaves women paying the price for government failure.
Another day, another sell out. Today it’s the @WASPI_Campaign & 1950s women. Despite MPs for years appearing on platforms with Waspi women supporting their campaign the government has refused to adopt any compensation scheme including the compensation recommended by ombudsman.
This is shocking. New @jrf_uk report has found ‘very deep poverty’ in Britain has hit its worst level in 30 years.
Why is this not on every UK news show this morning?
