I had a lovely Saturday afternoon, enjoying the sun with my colleagues whilst catching up with some of our local Downley residents.
I had some brilliant feedback, and this always encourages me to work even harder for my constituents!
As Christmas fades away, we are back in the soup kitchen. Today was quite nice but then it rained for the evening.We served a traditional hot curry with rice This warmed up the evening for the people who are less fortunate then us Please always try and help people who are in need
Happy New year to everyone.We are celebrating the start of the new year with a party in the soup kitchen. So we served some hot food and cake on a cold day. We are hoping to carry on serving the less fortunate for the coming year.
Today at the Soup kitchen we had a couple of new people helping out. There were a lot of new faces as well on the other side of the counter. Maybe because of the times we live in there was a lot more people here for the food. They had the food and a full stomach to go away with.
Good news for The Pastures on the horizon; resurfacing work is programmed to start week commencing 26 June. I'll post more detailed information as I get it

Soup kitchen time. We had a really good turn out and the people loved the rice and chicken curry. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who made this happen. From the cooks to all the helpers that give up their time and help to make this a great success.
I will like to thank Historia Mezze & Grill in High Wycombe for hosting a lovely community iftar. As always the food was delicious and we all had a great evenning.

Last night I went to pay my respects to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, a truly great monarch. She modelled how to be a great servant leader for our country and will be missed dearly. May she rest in peace.
