Some voice actors give us one unforgettable character. Grey DeLisle gave generations an entire childhood full of them 🎙️ Think about how different her characters are. She was the terrifyingly memorable Vicky, the endlessly recognizable Daphne Blake, the deadpan Mandy, the loyal Sam Manson, and the unforgettable Azula. She also brought Frankie Foster to life and carried that versatility into games as Catwoman in Batman: Arkham City and Injustice. That range is a huge part of why Grey is so beloved. She never needed every character to sound or feel the same. Heroes, villains, best friends, troublemakers, princesses and superheroes could all come from the same performer while becoming completely separate personalities in our memories. Her work has crossed cartoons, games and generations, with newer audiences now hearing her in projects like Invincible while longtime fans still recognize the characters they grew up with. Grey DeLisle didn’t just become part of animation history. She became part of the soundtrack of growing up. ❤️
