As someone who regularly watched anime for a large portion of my life, the removal of the physical copies makes the retaining of media more difficult for this community. Crunchyroll itself has removed from its listing plenty of older, more “controversial” animes that are now incredibly difficult to find.
When the licensing that Crunchyroll has for a show runs out, we lose access to that content. I’m worried that some of the shows we treasure even now will just disappear when the platforms we rely on lapse in our ability to trust them. Sony already proved what happens to movies you bought online through the PlayStation network.
Kamala Harris at her closing campaign rally:
"Donald Trump intends to use the United States Military against American citizens who simply disagree with him."
He now wants the historic Cherry Trees that were gifted from Japan in 1910 REMOVED, along with the bike path so he can build a golf course.
Guy's! HE'S PLANNING ON CUTTING DOWN THE CHERRY TREES. THE FUCKING CHERRY TREES OF DC.
This better not happen.
Amazon received $17.5 billion in tax subsidies last year and made $78 billion in profit. If they're so successful, why do taxpayers have to give them subsidies?
To buy our politicians and keep the grift going.
turns out going randomly paranoid about all the bloat and random connections going in and out of my smart tv a few years ago ending up downloading the samsung smart tv devkit in order to yank all the shit i didn’t recognize or need out and keep it out was not a bad idea
now i just have my new smart tv completely disconnected from the internet and use a separate local network with an isolated and monitored box to stream stuff lol

He has nothing to run on.. he has abandoned every campaign promise he’s ever made.
We went to war. We expanded our debt. We did not bring back manufacturing.
🚨 do you understand what happened to Stephen Colbert..
24 hours after his final Late Show, Colbert hijacked a tiny public access channel in Monroe, Michigan with Jack White, Eminem, Jeff Daniels and Steve Buscemi.
Now Paramount - the company that just cancelled his show - is mass-blocking every reupload worldwide via Content ID. And the deeper you dig, the worse it looks:
- The finale pulled 6.74M viewers - a weeknight record over 11 years
- Eminem cameoed as "Marshall, the fire marshal" to greenlight torching the set
- The same day Trump posted an AI video of throwing Colbert into a dumpster, Colbert aired footage of himself burning a real one
- Mayday Network and verified journalist Matthew Keys both got blocked globally - for sharing a community access show
Paramount cancelled his show to silence him. Instead they handed him a Streisand-effect comeback 10x bigger than the show ever was.
