Robert Pattinson says he loves that some of his lines have been turned into viral memes.
“When I was younger I remember going into school & if there was a big movie out, people would remember individual lines & do their imitations. I felt that had been gone from culture for years & now it’s been replaced by memes.”
When Wonder Woman came out, Gal Gadot was treated like Hollywood royalty. Now, it feels like the industry can’t stop mocking and criticizing her.
That shift says a lot about Hollywood and how quickly it turns on people. When you’re successful and useful to the industry, everyone wants to celebrate you and be your friend. But the moment your career hits a rough patch or you’re no longer the person everyone is chasing, suddenly you become the punchline.
You don’t have to love Gal Gadot as an actress or like every movie she makes, but watching an industry that once celebrated her seemingly take pleasure in tearing her down is pretty fucking gross.
Hollywood loves you when it needs you and has no problem treating you like shit when it doesn’t.
This applies to every single aspect of the business.
@Mitch_Letcher Sorry to break it you but that shot and the other shots I came up with were called “Superman saves people around the world”. That was the whole point of it. Stop making up stuff just to push whatever narrative you’re selling. I was there.
After spending over a decade making fun of this character without owning his own failure, now this mf wants to play nice since the Lanterns show is doing well
