Yesterday was a remarkable and joyous day at Akado Vocational Training Centre with various partners as we carried out various activities to empower the young mothers at the institution and improve their infant's experience at the baby daycare.
We had the privilege of visiting @ShaperCbo & got to learn of the impressive & impactful work they are doing.
This comes ahead of partnership talks between both institutions. We are always delighted to meet new networks and look forward to exploring new opportunities.
We also did cloth material donations to the Fashion & Design & Garment Making Department to assist the students to practice their craft and enhance their creativity through upcycling and recycling of the materials.
Young mothers and their infants ages 5 years and below at Akado Vocational Training Centre, Baby Care Unit are our new beneficiaries of assorted cloth donations. The Baby Care Unit was delighted to receive one baby cot.
