@darinthephysio@physitrack This could be a positive thing for telephysio. Get us all using it now and hopefully we will continue to integrate it once this has all blown over.
With so many clinics shutting their doors at the moment I would encourage clinicians to try virtual physio. Contact @physitrack to get hooked up to a platform that will allow you to continue to help your patients. With disruption comes innovation!
@adewagstaff@gerardgreenephy It's good to see the top 4 categories but ironic it is the 4 areas we have the least trainingin. Why do we bother pursuing manual therapy so much when the public don't expect it and has poor efficacy.
@adewagstaff If we as a profession don't do anything about the over use of low value care then third party payers will. We need to sort ourselves out and demonstrate why we deserve better rates of remuneration.
As clinician's it is important for us to know that the absence of evidence is not the same as evidence of absence. Our practice must reflect this vital difference.
@scotmorrsn@AdamMeakins@NSCA@the_ASCA@USWeightlifting Thanks Scot and Adam. I'm up in Canada so will take a look at the NSCA program. We should have more of this taught in PT schools instead of teaching how many different ways you can wiggle a joint.
@neiljlangridge PSWD? Will you ship to North America. Not sure they got that over here. Could make a killing off of it. The next greatest thing after ECSWT? EBP ha, ha!
@adewagstaff Some people need a little white lie/BS to hang their hat on. It can help them trust you (therapist) know how to help them. As much as we don't like doing it!
