Astounded by the sheer absurdity of this reaction from ABK/M$. They’re now effectively blackmailing the UK government to intervene in an independent regulatory decision. I really hope the @FTC and @EU_Commission will be taking notes and reach the same conclusion as @CMAgovUK 🙏🏽

Never seen a response to a takeover decision by the independent CMA before, saying UK faces “dire economic prospects” and they’ll reassess growth plans in the Uk which is “closed for business”… basically asking Govt to intervene…

What Microsoft / Xbox needs to do is focus on the studios they already own to start delivering quality games, rather than trying to buy its way to success.
