Good luck to Cloud County alum Siyabonga Mokgothu, a member of the Florida Gulf Coast men's cross country team, as he will compete in the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships on October 31. Mokgothu recently won the individual title at the Ed Holloway XC Classic in Lakeland, Fl.
Cloud County alum and former two-time national champion Ozia Trujillo will compete in the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships on October 31 as a member of the Florida Gulf Coast women's cross country team. This fall, Trujillo set the FGCU record in the 5K with a time of 17:05.4
Cloud County alum Melody Ochana will help lead the University of Northern Iowa women's cross country team at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships in Evansville, IN on October 31. Last year, Ochana finished in 18th place at the MVC Championships in a time of 20:59.
Cloud County had three women's runners receive All-Region recognition at the 2025 Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference/NJCAA Region 6 Cross Country Championships.
