P.S the headset that comes with the mixer is pretty damn good, and the mic’s audio is really really good, I’d argue it’s probably the best headset mic I’ve heard in a while.
The sum of my experience with the ZG-01, I really like this mixer, it outshines the GOXLR in many places, for anyone looking to buy it, I’d recommend waiting for now, the ZG-01 is really new and Yamaha is probably gonna release a newer gaming mixer
Ok after 2 weeks of use of using this mixer here’s what I gathered
Pros:
•EQs and custom audio profiles, I don’t really know if the GOXLR had this, pretty sure it didn’t, imo this is a big plus.
•Very easy to use, app is really easy to use too.
-that really helped with using GeForce’s shadowplay which was a pain to set up, now on the ZG-01 I kinda just gave up on shadowplay and accepted what I have, which is just recorded gameplay with the game’s audio and my mic’s audio and that’s it

cons:
Not much really, most of it is personal preferences which I will list
•didn’t have a soundboard to record audio
•something I really liked on the goxlr was the broadcast mix, where I could choose which sources were recording on that mix and-
