I really didnt like Charlie. He was undeniably a terrible person. But he didn't deserve to die. Nobody deserves to die. His children were there to watch, so was his wife, no one deserves to go through that. Empathy is important, we shouldn't celebrate any instance of gun violence

@slitheenIRL @ninejackrose The doctor is compassionate yes, but at the end of the day they're an immortal alien who's extremely desensitized to loss. Its an interesting bit of character writing. The doctor is nice, and kind to a fault, but not always. EVERY DOCTOR IS LIKE THIS.

@jae_writes_ The thing about the doctor is that their a fucking alien. They rarely if at all ever process emotions the same way humans do, they dont even always understand human emotions. Its a key part of the doctors character. No matter how human they act sometimes, they're still an alien.

@gothoperas @Jct2626 And doesnt bringing up the scene with all the extras in the cafeteria sorta defeat the purpose of your argument? They very clearly had the extras, and could've filled that scene if they wanted to, but they didnt. It was an intentional decision made to set the tone. (2/2)
