@sfchronicle "Unsubstantiated" because Kalifornia has never a.) checked the citizenship status of their voter file or b.) shared their voter records with DHS to check citizenship. We don't know who's voting!
United States citizenship confers particular rights. The most fundamental is the equal right to vote and have that vote counted. California cannot continue counting noncitizen votes. Today we seek a Supreme Court emergency injunction to preserve American elections for American voters only.
@sfchronicle Yes on 39! Stop the illegal voting in Kalifornia! Not one Democrat state NOT ONE has either 1. checked the citizenship status of their voter file or 2. shared their voter records with DHS to check citizenship. The total number of illegal and non-citizen voters is astronomical.
You'll notice that Trump's attempt to have free and fair elections is being presented by the Left as his attempt to STEAL the election. Don't buy the lie. They are desperate. A fair election will spell their demise & they know it. https://t.co/reBfLWTsn2
This debate over noncitizens on California’s voter rolls could be resolved in under a day if California simply used the same federal database it has relied on for 40 years to confirm Medi-Cal applicants’ citizenship.
California has raised no issues with this database for Medi-Cal, so why not use it to check voter eligibility.
Noncitizens voting is illegal under federal and state law. California could quickly run its unredacted voter rolls through the federal citizenship database. 34 states already do this to confirm noncitizens aren’t voting, giving everyone confidence in the upcoming election results.
What is California afraid of?
