What @digitalfoundry didn't tell you is that PS5 HDMI 2.1 bandwidth is capped at 32Gbps.

If PS5 was to ever have a true 8K game, it would be limited to 8K@30FPS.

Xbox Series X HDMI 2.1 bandwidth is 40Gbps. And this would allow 8K@60FPS 👀

Every AAA production has outsourcing, sometimes with dozens of studios.

The only difference here is that the outsourcing studio is a prominent one.
