On August 26th we sponsored our annual Cops & Kids event at the Northlake area Target. Each year we sponsor families throughout Mecklenburg County and provide them with $75 per child to use to purchase critical school supplies.

The low bond amounts are also typically “unsecured” bonds. Which means that the offender STILL does NOT have to post bond. Rather, you simply sign yourself out. And only if you fail to appear on your court date will you have to post a bond after being re-arrested.
