Hey @anupamachopra, were you high during this interview, or are you always this insensitive and tone deaf?
And Saif, “Free Palestine” is not a Javier Bardem quote. It’s a slogan calling for an end to Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestinian territories and for the freedom and rights of Palestinians.
A Film Can Fail. A Great Actor Doesn’t.
I watched Alpha last Friday, and personally, I didn’t enjoy it. I found the film predictable, slow, and lacking the impact needed to connect with either the mass audience or the multiplex crowd. I stand by my opinion that it isn’t a good film.
That said, my view of the film should not be confused with my opinion of Alia Bhatt’s performance. While I do believe action may not be the genre that best complements her screen persona, there’s no denying that she is an exceptional actress. Her screen presence, confidence, and command over her craft remain impressive.
Whether Alpha turns out to be a hit or a flop will become clear over the next few days, but its box office fate will not define Alia Bhatt’s career. She is already one of the biggest stars in the industry, and one film won’t change that. I genuinely hope she continues doing strong, content driven, commercial and performance oriented films, because she has the talent to excel for many years to come.

It has yet to see the light of day.
Wish the heavily vocal champions of banned and burried films would make some noise about this one, too.
And then they ask why the hate/negativity is so forced.
But the real stars know how to handle fake narratives and don't blame the negativity for their films not working

@diliwaligrlfrnd I mean THIS ! How can you ignore that. Even if the movie did well for other reasons and the unanimous response was being a miscast, you should be more worried about your choices.
Somewhere between being a Gehrayiaan critic and a Gehrayiaan supporter, we realised that we are all just a boy/girl standing in front of a movie, realising we are deeply in love with Deepika Padukone.
