The premise of course was that Martin IS President of the United States, suggesting that in the alternate-world John-Luke presented, there was a valid mechanism for him being elected (or a coup - but I think that's less likely, knowing Martin. lol)

@jlukeroberts He can act, he can handle heavy horses, he loves dogs. He has poise, he likes people, and - I believe - he can understand large concepts such as economics. If his calling is POTUS, he would rise to the occasion with aplomb. His needs are secondary to those of the world at large
