@jacksfatboner the first half is kind of something that any modern metal band could do while experimenting tbh, it definitely reminded me of some while listening to it anyway. i think the album took a few listens until i caught the vibe and the idea of it though but for the most part, i agree
@jacksfatboner honestly i’ve been fucking with the new album a lot but i completely get what you mean. the first half of the album is so forgettable tbh but the second half is a lot more memorable and i have some instant favs from it, The Way It Breaks, Meet My Maker and The Ladder mostly
