S1 have learned about the Fallas festival and designed their own ninots in groups which will become a falla at the end. Learning about the Spanish culture was really fun. 🇪🇸
Today our S6 Language Leaders welcomed some of the primary pupils they have been working with this year to CHS for a special event which marked the end of a very successful leadership project.
S1 had a French breakfast today in order to celebrate the end of the French food topic. They created a L2/3 writing, we discussed healthy food and of course we watched Ratatouille. Bon appétit S1. Les pains au chocolat et croissants were very popular🇫🇷
We have designing Christmas tree ornaments based on Los reyes magos. S1 also have had an input about Christmas in Spain. Watch out for the 12 grapes on Hogmanay! Well done S1🌟👑🇪🇸
Our S2 enjoyed a tapas trip to La Barca in Helensburgh! 🇪🇸
Pupils from @clydebankhigh sampled a variety of delicious tapas and discovered more about the culture and traditions behind this iconic part of Spanish life. A brilliant mix of food, fun, and learning! 🌟🍤🥘
Thank you to all of our enthusiastic S1 pupils who took part in this year’s EDL Bake Off competition, we had plenty of delicious treats! Choosing the winning entries was a difficult decision but well done to our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners 👏 @clydebankhigh
So excited to have received our first letters from Argenteuil, France (twin town with Clydebank). We are delighted with them. Now time for our pupils to answer. #penpals#languages
Las chicas for Modern languages are ready to promote languages at the career fair! If you are still hesitating just remember languages are a skill to add to your CV😊 @clydebankhigh
Some great creativity this morning with S1. Following a lesson on pets, S1 looked at alebrijes for a cultural input, learned about Oaxaca and then they designed their own alebrijes. Great work developing your innovation meta skill(curiosity/creativity). Muy bien🇲🇽 @clydebankhigh
