On Sabbath, May 16, 2026, CMC celebrated its annual World Adventurer Day. All of CMC’s Adventurers & Pathfinders participated in the main worship service at CMC. CMC is incredibly proud of its Adventurers and Pathfinders and grateful for their participation in the church service!

On Sabbath, May 16, 2026, CMC joyfully welcomed its newest members, Sarah & Vanessa Kanyabutembo! Sarah and Vanessa were baptized by CMC Senior Pastor Karol Mosebay & Elder Jermaine Ogaja during a special worship service. We congratulate Sarah and Vanessa and warmly welcome them!

On Sabbath, March 7, 2026, Capital Memorial SDA Church hosted the wedding blessing ceremony of Andre and Francine Vancky. It was a beautiful and heartfelt service, bringing together family, friends, and members of the CMC community to celebrate the couple.

On Friday, April 3, 2026, CMC held its annual Agape Feast event. The evening began with a delicious dinner followed by a special program, during which Pastor Karol delivered a meaningful sermonette. It was a beautiful and spirit-filled gathering!

On Sabbath, March 28, members and friends of CMC enjoyed a memorable trip to see the cherry blossoms in Washington, DC. The day was sunny and cool, and the blossoms in full bloom made it all worthwhile. Thank you to Jose Luis & Monica Gonzalez for organizing and leading the trip!

On Sabbath, December 20, 2025, Capital Memorial Church had its annual Christmas service. It was a wonderful service where “The Indifference that Rules Us, the Forgiveness that Abounds” play was performed by CMC members as they told the story of the birth of Jesus Christ in Bible.

On 12/13/25, CMC Adventurer Club participated in the Adventurer Bible Experience at CMC. The CMC Adventurer Club did an awesome job answering questions about the Bible. The AC Leader Willbita Mendez, volunteers, and parents participated and assisted the children during the event.
