A grand return to Beagle Point. The Sense of Obligation crouches easily upon body 2, The last time I was here was 7 years ago, capping off my tumultuous ride through my very first expedition, #DistantWorlds2
Bittersweet, but we're just getting started...
#DistantWorlds3
Thomaski Point.
Distant Worlds 2 and loss of a beautiful life has it's own meaning to me. I always have time to stop and regard moments such as these.
Commanders never die. o7, see you in The Black.
#DistantWorlds3#LetsJumpTogether
Another chaotic, but endearing social engagement as the flotilla comes together for Waypoint 2 under the belt.
I pause my flight to consider Chraei Blue, a fascinating planetary nebula out here in the Formorian Frontier.
Time for my return to Beagle Point.

Viruna.
I awake to the sickly pale green eternal twilight of this world orbiting the decaying husk of it's parent star.
A quick check of the systems shows everything functioning nominally, Zorgon makes good birds.
Let's get back out there.
#DistantWorlds3#LetsJumpTogether
After a slightly delayed departure (any my gratitude to) the DSEV Odysseus, we arrive at my first point of interest for #DistantWorlds3
Lumen Viridis, a small black hole wrapped in the most beautiful green nebula. I park well clear of her gravitational pull to rest for the night
@TheSinzia I'm still trying to figure out if I love my hotshot.
Mostly a skill issue, I pour my coffee in fresh off the brew and that afternoon it's still almost too hot to drink.
It's been awhile, hasn't it CMDRs?
CSIG Squadron spins back up Trade operations. XO @TheSinzia deploys The Sassanid to the local system to load for Squadron bulk trade operations.
The Reckless Abandon is purring like a kitten, and it's good to be back.
#FriendshipDriveCharging
Carrier loading operations complete, time to schedule a delivery.
The Sassanid is rigged for jump, I pause for a moment in the ready room for a cup of coffee and a chat with XO while the FC crew does what they do best...

@CmdrACB We see the same thing in Sol. Technically the orbits of Pluto and Neptune intersect, but their orbital resonance means they'll never collide.
There's also a ton of math that goes into this but I'm too smooth-brain to cite it and explain it.
@CmdrACB I am by no means an expert at this, but I would say "more evidence needed". It's likely these two bodies are in an orbital resonance with each other and thus one or the other would speed up or slow down as it's partner approached.
I would say collision is highly unlikely.
@commader_yanick it was a distinct pleasure and honor to lead the Pacific fleet for this expedition. Myself and Wingwoman depart now for the Black, but should you need help again, give a call, I'll return.

So too ends #A15X for me and @CMDRWolfCandy, once again in spirit as other engagements took us away from the official meet and symbolic touchdown, but this time for real as we arrived on time in the final waypoint.
We undock from our carrier and enjoy a quiet moment in the black
