Is that a 2-cent wealth tax or 2% wealth tax? Trump's child investment accounts are a better idea. They are already available to parents who have a child who was born on or after January 1, 2025.

When the parent applies, a $1,000 investment account will be opened for their child. It costs the parent nothing and they can make tax-free contributions to the account during their child's minority. The money will be invested in the stock market fund until their 18th birthday at which time the child can use the account to pay for significant life events, e.g. college, buy a house, start a business, etc.. The account will become an IRA at age 18 and any unspent funds will become a retirement nest egg.

There are rules and restrictions, but establishing your child's account costs you nothing, and your child has everything to gain. Download IRS Publication 4547 and instructions to learn more.

Here's the question: Would you rather have a 2 cent wealth tax that goes to the government or a $1,000 investment in your child's future that you can contribute to along the way?

Agreed. Let's talk about the "Trump" savings accounts for newborn babies. These accounts are funded by billionaires who want every child in American to have a better chance to reach their full potential.
If their parents apply, children born between January 2025 and 2028 will receive a $1,000 investment account that will remain tax free until the child's 18th birthday. Parents can make additional deposits into their children's account. At age 18, the account will rollover to an IRA or it can be withdrawn for significant live events, e.g. education, a business, a house, etc.
Gov. Healey and Senators Markey and Warren don't want to discuss these accounts because they were created by Trump. They would rather let your child go without than give credit where credit is due.
Just like no tax on tips or overtime, these accounts are good for working families. The legacy media and Democrats will play down the accounts or ignore their availability to their constituents. If this is the time you've heard about the accounts, you'll know what I mean.

Reasonable arguments can be made for Trump's skipping the game, e.g. Trump's safety, the public's safety, confusion and delay. Aside from the "Unaffordable" Care Act, Obama accomplished nothing of consequence in 8 years. He got a Nobel Prize just for being elected. Other recipients actually had to accomplish something.
Obama brokered the deal to steal the nomination from Bernie Sanders and get Biden nominated in 2020. His people pretty much ran the Whitehouse while Biden was at the beach eating chocolate chip ice cream.
Even his detractors know that Trump accomplished more in the first 2 years of his presidency than others have accomplished in 8 years. Obama has been out for 6 years but he has returned to meddle and discredit Trump because his legacy puts Obama's to shame.
