@AFewWilliams Thanks! I just started looking at updating my example repo for next13, but not got as far as app insights yet. I had an idea to look at whether using app insights in some Next middleware might be enough, but not sure if I will need to do something at an error boundary too.

@vebdev Sorry I missed this somehow. Thanks for the feedback! I would have thought that package.json was required because of the install step after deploy, but next.config.js maybe optional depending on your app. Glad it's working though!

@devuxer I have a "Create Next App" template that deploys a Next app to Azure App Services as a Node app, if that's of interest. API routes and all other features of Next work fine.
