शाम 6:50 बजे से कर्तव्य पथ पर 1.25 लाख ‘आशीर्वाद के दीये’ जगमगाएंगे। बड़ी संख्या में दिल्लीवासी प्रधानमंत्री जी के उत्तम स्वास्थ्य, दीर्घायु और माँ भारती की सेवा के लिए निरंतर शक्ति की मंगलकामना के साथ ‘आशीर्वाद का दीया’ जलाएंगे।

मुख्यमंत्री श्रीमती रेखा गुप्ता ने समस्त दिल्लीवासियों से विनम्र आग्रह किया है कि वे बड़ी संख्या में इन कार्यक्रमों से जुड़ें और अपनी सहभागिता से ‘सेवा संकल्प अभियान’ को सार्थक बनाएं।

Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta today unveiled the medal for the Vedanta Half Marathon, to be held in Delhi on 18 October.

Delhi has always embraced the spirit of fitness, discipline and public participation with remarkable energy. Chief Minister appealed to Delhiites to join the half marathon in large numbers and give fresh momentum to the resolve for a healthier Delhi.

Cabinet Minister Shri Kapil Mishra, senior members of the Vedanta Group and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

From 17 September to 17 October, Delhi Government joins the nation in celebrating Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi’s remarkable journey of Janseva.

Guided by the spirit of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas, Delhi will mark this month through initiatives of Seva, Sushasan and Garib Kalyan, taking forward the resolve of Viksit Bharat through Viksit Delhi.

Delhi’s ASHA workers are a trusted helping hand for mothers, children and families across the city.

Recognising their service, Delhi Cabinet under the leadership of Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta has doubled the fixed monthly incentive for 6,725 ASHA workers from ₹3,000 to ₹6,000.

All other incentives will continue as before.

On Engineers’ Day, Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta, along with Hon’ble Delhi BJP State President and Union Minister of State Shri Harsh Malhotra, paid tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr. M. Visvesvaraya and highlighted the vital role of engineers in nation-building.

For Delhi, engineering excellence is central to better infrastructure, safer buildings, stronger public systems and a more future-ready city. Delhi Government will continue to work with the engineering community to translate innovation and precision into the vision of Viksit Delhi and Viksit Bharat.

Today, Delhi Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta, expressed gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, Hon’ble Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri @AmitShah Ji and Hon’ble Union Jal Shakti Minister Shri C. R. Patil Ji for the Kishau Multipurpose Dam Project.

Delhi has signed the MoU with five other States. For the Capital, benefits are substantial and long-term. It will strengthen drinking water security, improve availability during lean-flow months, reduce seasonal pressure on supply and support rejuvenation and conservation of Yamuna.

Delhi will gain a stronger, more reliable water framework for its growing population, while also contributing to irrigation, water conservation and clean energy across North India.

Delhi Government has initiated the process to provide safe and affordable hostel accommodation for 10,000 students.

The initiative will cover both girls and boys, with secure campuses and student-friendly facilities that help them focus on their studies and future. Locations are being identified and a dedicated policy is under preparation for time-bound implementation.

During the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, projects worth nearly ₹8,000 crore for the cleaning and rejuvenation of the Yamuna will be inaugurated and their foundations laid.

Delhi has also set a target of planting 70 lakh saplings. The campaign will accelerate this effort through large-scale plantation drives in every ward, in partnership with institutions and community organisations.

Delhi will come together for the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’. On the evening of 17 September, beneficiaries of Government schemes and BJP workers across the city will light ‘Aashirwad ka Diya’ in their homes to convey birthday greetings to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji and pray for his good health, long life and continued service to the nation.

A series of public service initiatives will also be undertaken across Delhi.
