Yesterday we attended the Our World Juniors Premiere & Awards Ceremony in Glasgow — part of SCILT’s “Our World” language learning + filmmaking project. Out of 100+ entries, Carrick Academy was one of just 17 schools selected to showcase their films. Big moment!

From 11th April, some of our volunteers will be running the Charity Shop to raise funds for the Paris Trip. If you can donate any items, please hand into school office.
Congratulations to S1 pupils Emma Rankin (1B), Sophie Brown (1R) and Elsa Galea (1R), and S2 pupils Grace Gibson Muircroft (2B), Becket Cornell (2B) and Taylor Carry (2Y) who have all been successful in progressing to the next round of the Our World competition.

THE LEGEND RETIRES! After 27 years today we said a very fond farewell to Mr Johnny Rusk. A new adventure begins Mr Rusk, you will be sorely missed. Bon voyage!
Yesterday we spent a fabulous final day in Montmartre visiting Sacré Coeur, followed by a visit to Choco Story, where we learned about the history of chocolate and watched a demonstration before tasting some delicious chocolates 🍫 @Carrick_Academy
On Wednesday, we took in many of the major tourist attractions, including Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre, the Champs Elysées and of course la Tour Eiffel, rounding off our day with a beautiful tour of the Seine on one of the famous Bateaux Mouches 🇫🇷☀️ @Carrick_Academy
