Fall semester is almost here! I'm resharing this link to a folder that has Powerpoint files with check-ins, warm-up activities, and exit tickets. You're welcome to download and use anything that's helpful! I also found another great exit ticket resource: https://t.co/U9fy1yPs85
Itβs becoming increasingly clear to me which people see Pride purely as a celebration of LGBT identity, and which people see it as a protest against the oppression of marginalised sexual identities and a fight for liberation from the state on how we βshouldβ relate to others.
Ok Elon, Iβm briefly back because #aps23dc told me to tweet. Stoked to be giving the invited David Myers lecture tomorrow at 2 in ballroom east. Come say hi (psychologistsβ¦not Elon)!
Hi social psych hive mind! Anyone know of any work showing that political orientation moderates stigma-by-association? I know there's a lot of work on political orientation as it relates to STIGMA itself, but how about stigma-by-association?? Immense gratitude for any help!!!
Folks! Weβre hiring open rank open area TT at Skidmore! My colleagues created an amazing search website to answer your qs. Iβm also more than happy to chat. Join us!! RT SVP.
Of interest, we DON'T find that these consequences vary as a function of researcher gender...we just find broad reputational costs for both men and women. So don't say I only ever publish soul-crushing news for women. This news is equally soul-crushing for women AND men! Yay?
New paper with @AshburnNardo Jessi Smith @csanzari_@tvescio & Peter Glick! We show substantial consequences for researchers' reputations + perceived quality of their other work as a result of a single failed replication attempt. Ooof. Let's discuss.

New paper! @Sclammie, students and I have been working on this one since literally 2013. We explore parents' and kiddos implicit and explicit math attitudes, showing that parents' are particularly predictive of daughter's. Sigh. Yay RU alum collab! https://t.co/yedAqNMJve
