@ArtAcevedo@statesman Many cities across America struggled with obtaining the resources necessary to process the backlog of sexual assault kits. It wasn't until the Federal Government began to provide assistance that the backlog was reduced. Acevedo was not provided the resources he sought.

Pursuit policies are trending again. It's a tricky one to be sure. @PoliceForum recently recommended that agencies only permit pursuits when there is evidence of a violent crime *and* failure to immediately apprehend would pose an imminent threat to public safety.
