After following him forever, I finally got to hear @Joe_Sanfelippo speak and it’s because my own district brought him here. Thanks for a great keynote!
"Teachers- if you are teaching online next week, your 1st step is not to visit a free site w games...parents already have that. What they don’t have is you. Spend some time making a quick video of YOU. Talk to your kids. Tell them what you’ve been up to. Tell them you miss them."
We are excited to share with you the renovated Teacher Resource Hub. This hub will be the holding place for all things related to EL and Open Up curriculum resources. Think of it as your one-stop-planning-shop. Watch the screencast below..

A6: big dreams! Idea: workshop Wednesday where we get a sub for a teacher that has a skill or strategy to share and track PDs where teachers select an area of growth and attend targeted PD on that topic #cmspdl
I’m grouped with my students for three years. I’ve have been intentially about learning names, being visible and building relationships. Sometimes I feel like I’m making no progress but other days, they shock me!
A4: we have our academic and character enrichment block (ACE) students are fluidly grouped by data. Students needing additional support are in REACH. MTSS students get interventions in another room, enrichment students are completing real-world focused lessons #cmspdl
A3: our school is really trying to good a job with MTSS so this year we are using paper folders but our interventions include digital behavior charts and tools like Edgenuity #cmspdl
A1: I think it depends on where teachers are in the process. Someone who has never tracked anything, may want to start with standards or even lesson checks/exit tickets. Someone else could have student track their own and set goals and reflect #cmspdl
