This last full week of school we will be doing some fun labs in which we explore some fun science concepts! The last binder check will be today, and science starters are due Friday!
The past week, students have been creating posters to represent the 8 different biomes. Today, a natural disaster occurred in the biomes, and they are figuring out how that will affect the biome in the short term and long term.
This crazy week we will be finishing up biomes with presentations today, then tomorrow we will complete the gallery walk and all papers will be due. The last round of vocab is due Friday!
This week we are jumping into our last unit of Biomes and working on our project. Make sure you get your premission slip signed for the Rocky Fork trip and turn it in by Weds!
7th graders, this weekend try to find some old boots or old shoes, old clothes, and water bottle for the Rocky Fork trip next Friday! Premission slips will go home Monday and are due back Weds!
Remember, this is the first week of testing for 7th grade. Make sure you eat a good breakfast and are well rested! Because of testing, we only have one normal day, weds. The next round of vocab is due weds, but students can turn it in early!
This week is the last “normal” week of the month. We have the first round of vocab due weds (10pts), timely tides due weds (5pts), and science starters due Friday (10pts). Let’s finish out strong!
Finishing up the atmosphere and currents unit today and tomorrow. Test will be tomorrow!! Then, we are moving into the phases of the moon and how that is related to the tides.
