Meeting cum Training Workshop for 100% implementation of e-bill in Ministry of Coal

A meeting cum training workshop was held on 06.12.2024 to increase use of e-Bill by the Ministry and its subordinate organization CCO.

The session was headed by Joint Secy & Financial Adviser, Ms. Nirupama Kotru, and presentations were given by specialists from the CGA office.

This is a step towards the Ministry of Coal using 100% e-bills to improve transparency and expedite the processing and settlement of payments for government procurements.

The session equipped executives with cutting-edge IT and ML tools for effective dust control, exploring smart sensors, real-time data analysis, and predictive modeling.

This hands-on training empowered participants to revolutionize dust management in surface mining, ensuring operational efficiency, environmental sustainability, and enhanced health and safety standards through practical applications of integrated dust monitoring.

We are thrilled to announce that Mahalaxmi Area, located in the part of Ib Valley Coalfields in Sundergarh district, Odisha, has become the first production area of the company to achieve all the physical performance targets set for the current financial year 2024-25!

A huge round of applause to the dedicated teams at both projects—Siarmal OCP and Basundhara (West) OCP—for their exceptional efforts in surpassing their respective targets in coal production, dispatch, and overburden removal (OBR).

Key Achievements:
•Siarmal OCP exceeded its coal production target of 11.47 MT on 10.12.2024, achieving this milestone with 111 days remaining in the year!
•Basundhara (West) OCP surpassed its coal production target of 0.428 MT on 19.11.2024, with 132 days still to go in the financial year!
These accomplishments showcase the outstanding commitment and teamwork of our dedicated workforce.
