Last two nights walked back from the mid point pub stop when on my evening dog walk and it's so dark at 8pm

I'm rural so it is proper dark and unlit South Downs link, three sets of woods, one railway crossing, a graveyard and then the gauntlet of a narrow dog dirt alley

@sheseemslegit Whenever I go into this type of stuff I use affirmations to look ahead to after it is completed (the surgery first then the recovery) and tell myself it's good it's over and keep repeating the good thoughts it's behind me, it's still scary but it's a way I get through these times
