@Conor_Harris_ Nope. The diaphragm does not move the ribs out. How can it when it’s origin is on the internal aspect of the lower ribs (among other places) and it’s insertion is a central tendon. Muscles can only pull so the insertion moves and by definition it therefore cannot move ribs out
