It's just 2 weeks to go until Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee.
Our choirs have been practising the song that choirs across the entire Commonwealth will sing to celebrate the lighting of the Beacons.

Do you love to sing at home?
Sometimes the idea of joining a choir fills us with nerves at the thought of singing in front of somebody else.
But with Canadian Military Wives Choirs we sing alongside each other. Shoulder to shoulder. No auditions! #choir#militarywiveschoirs
Being in a CMWC we make instant friendships. It’s a huge relief to go to a new base where there is a choir with an instant mutual connection.

We are so fortunate to know many influential women in our network. Women who lead, women who create, women who provide care, women who empower. We learn from them and grow with them.
Happy International Women’s Day ❤️

As the stars that shall be bright when we are dust,
Moving in marches upon the heavenly plain;
As the stars that are starry in the time of our darkness,
To the end, to the end, they remain.

Today we wear orange and observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Day to remember First Nations, Metis, and Inuit children who were separated from their families and forced to attend residential schools between 1831 and 1996.
“The road we travel is equal in importance to the destination we seek. There are no short cuts. When it comes to truth and reconciliation we are forced to go the distance.” – Justice Murray Sinclair
