I travel a lot for work. And my general opinion of airlines drops every time I check in for the next flight.

Today I've been in two airports. Am flying right now. And have two more airports and a flight before I get where I am going. Hours later than originally planned. I've had the bots give me trite apologies. I've had gate agents be rude and unhelpful. And a customer service call that was truly anger inducing.

You know what I have not heard today? Or any of the dozen flights in the last 3 weeks?

"Thank you."

For my business. For sticking with it and flying with an airline after mechanical, "weather", diversions, and no crews. For sitting middle seats for multiple hours and getting pitiful service. For being willing to get on a plane after all that. And for being (quote) "one of our elite and most valued customers."

A simple thank you would have been, would be, nice.

But that's not the airline industry today.

Yes I'm talking to you @AmericanAir .
And @Delta. And @united.

You should really consider training your staff to show gratitude: ticket, gate, flight, everyone.

But you won't.

Today we remember the events of 9/11/2001. Today we also mourn for the tragic loss of Charlie Kirk.

Let us Pray for those we have lost. We Pray for their families who mourn here on earth. We Pray for our country. We Pray for those who hate our country and our freedom. We Pray for those who don't believe in Christ.

I went to mass this morning and the Gospel started with this:
Jesus said to his disciples:
"To you who hear I say, love your enemies,
do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you,
pray for those who mistreat you."

This was one of the most disgusting and evil things that I’ve ever seen. Just before we learned Charlie had passed, we tried to lead a prayer on the House floor - praying for his recovery after he was tragically shot. The Democrats started booing and yelling at us. It was absolutely disgusting. Their rhetoric caused this, and their actions today show they have no remorse!!!
