@GadSaad The only time I'm able to go to a cafe is after yoga class on a Sat or Sun morning, b/c I work F/T the rest of the week (when I wear "professional" clothes every day). BTW what's up with the 1/4 zip fleece you're wearing in one post - seems kinda unprofessional for a professor
@GadSaad Some of us are going for coffee directly from the gym or yoga class and it's a waste of time to change into fancy clothes before drinking coffee - our priority is getting coffee, not impressing some old creep at the cafe
@JDVance@NRockwellMuseum did you grant JD Vance the right to alter Norman Rockwell’s art this way? Knowing what I know about Rockwell’s politics I am positive he would be appalled at this use of his art. Is it possible to issue Vance a cease and desist? This is just gross
@realLizUSA How does this not make sense to you? If people voted for 3rd parties for president but for democrats in senate elections, it makes perfect sense. For example in Wisconsin, 3rd party prez votes accounted for about 1.3%. Trump only won in Wisconsin by 0.9%.
@DineshDSouza I would also like to know where you received your music degree and how many conducting courses you’ve taken. Also which orchestras you’ve played in and conductors you have performed under. Since you seem to be such an expert on what constitutes effective conducting lol
@DineshDSouza Lol have you ever seen Bernstein conduct? Finale of Mahler’s 2nd he looks like he’s experiencing something NSFW lol. But I guess it’s only ok for men to be expressive and flamboyant conductors
@vittorioangelon Have they ever seen Bernstein conducting Mahler? If they don’t have a problem with him but think the is is distracting it is just obvious sexism. OR they have never been to a classical music concert before and are just completely ignorant
Why is @EliLillyandCo forcing patients, doctors, pharmacists, and insurance providers to negotiate or an affordable price to keep people alive? Type 1 diabetics will die without insulin. How much profit is a person’s life worth?
On right is name brand insulin (copay $150/2 vials and apparently still a discount); on left is generic (copay $53/bottles). Same exact medication, both made by @EliLillyandCo. Why the price difference?
@EliLillyandCo is continuing to profit off insulin sales. You pledged to reduce the cost of insulin to $35/vial, but this apparently only applies to Medicare patients. Most type 1 diabetics are diagnosed as children and they will die if they go too long without insulin 1/5
@Aetna will not cover the cost of refilling my type 1 diabetic son’s insulin prescription. He is almost out, but they will not pay for more for another 3 weeks. We have to pay $150 (which is apparently a “discount”) for 2 vials of insulin that cost $6 to produce. 1/5
4/5 I guess @Aetna (which reported a net income of $6 billion last year, which was an increase from the previous year) would rather intentionally kill people (can you charge a corporation with murder?) than have their millionaire CEO make a little less.
2/5 He is using the correct amount of insulin as prescribed by his doctor. The endocrinologist’s office also cannot get Aetna to approve the prescription refill. It is not like diabetics are overusing insulin recreationally 🙄
