The Cavs biggest fear this offseason is James Harden becoming a pain, according to @BleacherReport
“Harden has a long history of, let's say, fraught contract situations. He'll agitate for an exit the moment he's unhappy with anything, and no one should argue he's above making things uncomfortable for the Cavs—even when he lacks negotiating leverage.”
Prioritizing Wade over Ellis in vacuum is fine so long it’s not a substitute but an addition to still prioritizing a third big and remaking the guard/wing spot.
@DumbBrownsFann@Zaknoble We shouldn't forget how the Cavs struggled to get to the ECF. Let's not pretend that the Knicks are the Cavs only obstacle in the Eastern Conference.
In 1986, a man purchased a copy of Super Mario Bros. as a Christmas gift. For reasons lost to time, the gift was never opened and eventually ended up forgotten inside a desk drawer.
There it remained for more than 35 years, still sealed in its original factory packaging.
The game survived untouched, preserving features that collectors rarely see today, including its original shrink wrap and an intact cardboard hang tab from an early production run.
When the long-forgotten game was rediscovered in 2021, experts immediately recognized its extraordinary rarity and condition.
It was consigned to Heritage Auctions, where collectors from around the world competed for the chance to own one of the finest known copies of one of the most iconic video games ever made.
On April 2, 2021, the sealed copy sold for an astonishing $660,000, setting a new world record for the highest price ever paid for a video game at the time.
Cavs are over 2nd Apron by ~$200K without their 1st Round pick 29th pick.
Harden is at $42.3M and if he gets down to $30M in Y1, that means they could sign Wade for $12M in Y1 and be under the 2nd Apron.
Make it $9M in Y1 for Wade and they can fit 29 under 2nd Apron as well.
The Cavs are likely going to prioritize bringing back Dean Wade over Keon Ellis, per @TheSteinLine.
Stein notes that he does not expect the Cavs to entertain trade offers for Evan Mobley.
@bartholome42213@duanebammage@TheDunkCentral@WindhorstESPN@GetUpESPN Dude. I just want to talk sports. I wasn't the one name calling. Seriously you want to call me childish when they're name calling? 👍 👌. Your account isn't even a year old. Come at me when you prove you're actually real & not just trolling Twitter. Bye bye 👋.
@duanebammage@TheDunkCentral@WindhorstESPN@GetUpESPN Once again you can't hear a tweet. I did read. You just might be a troll 🧌. Looking to argue & name call just for kicks. I did read objectively. You're talking out your ass now just to argue.
@SleeperCleCavs@SpidaMode Kyrie should be #2 not #3. Kyrie asking for a trade helped lead to LeBron leaving in 2018. That list should be extended to 4 with Boozer. What could have been if he would've stayed & not tricked the team so he could leave.
@duanebammage@TheDunkCentral@WindhorstESPN@GetUpESPN Teammates can only help him so much on defense. The rotations & switches on defense were bad enough leaving guys open. Harden would never accept a role as the #3 guy like you want to claim. You might want to take your feelings out of it. He's not the teams answer at PG.
@duanebammage@TheDunkCentral@WindhorstESPN@GetUpESPN They don't consistently utilize Mobley & make him a focus on offense like they should. They'll get him established in the paint for a quarter or so which results in success then they revert to launching constant 3's even asking him to launch multiple 3's.
@duanebammage@TheDunkCentral@WindhorstESPN@GetUpESPN If you're going to tell me straight up that he didn't make numerous careless passes, overdribbled then tried to go through the whole team himself or doing a crossover that turns into a fastbreak. He isn't the star you claim him to be. He's 36 & at the end of his career.
@duanebammage@TheDunkCentral@WindhorstESPN@GetUpESPN I doubled down because you tried to blame some of the turnovers on his teammates. Harden isn't all that great. He's not worth more than the mid-level execption. He's not the Cavs answer at PG. They should sign & trade him.
The Bears’ Board of Directors voted Thursday to advance the stadium development in Hammond, Indiana, with the exact to be selected. This is this first time that the Bears’ board has voted on any stadium site.
As one source said, “There is more work to do but barring anything very strange, it’s a done deal.”
