Where is the solid, convincing scientific evidence that CO2 is a primary driver for the worldwide global warming that has occurred since the late 1970s? I have looked for that kind of evidence but have not found it. But there's a lot of evidence that CO2 is NOT such a driver.
When you hear people say they want diversity...
Remember there must be no exceptions.
Their diversity must include;
Diversity of thought,
diversity of ideas & especially a diversity of opinion.
Otherwise the defining principle of their ‘diversity’ is intolerance.
The final battle will not occur in 2022 or 2024. It's about 2020. The final battle is about to begin. If we lose, those years will dwindle in relevance. If we win, those years will take care of themselves. Man/woman your battle stations.
@JewsDownUnder@Kenneth72712993@JaggerMickOZ Be that as it may, here is short medical video with a fairly specific explanation of the general mechanism, biologically, by which zinc is believed to work in conjunction with hydroxychloroquine to help the body eliminate the COVID-19 virus from cells.

@Sandiejoy@Kenneth72712993 That's why the FDA approved it for COVID-19 on an emergency use basis. The potential benefits outweigh the risks. HHS noted that “anecdotal reports suggest that these drugs may offer some benefit in the treatment of hospitalized COVID-19 patients"

@Sandiejoy@Kenneth72712993 Here's the problem Sandra. Such studies *are* ongoing. It will take months for the results to be in. In the meantime, a number of people are going to die. There is plenty of both anecdotal and small study evidence *right* *now* to believe that many of those would be saved by HCQ.
@MillyMolly300@Kenneth72712993@novakglobal I have read that early is better, also. But because of all the controversy, and also because only now is the past shortage being resolved, some of the first uses were only being given very late. I have seen multiple news stories about recoveries after someone is very nearly dead.
@Kenneth72712993 @lovatoje @mark_melbin This interview snippet with prominent rheumatologist Dr. Daniel Wallace describes his treatment of lupus patients with hydroxychloroquine (HCQ). I heard a longer interview with a physician where it is described how HCQ has been given safely for decades.

@maxim_k@cdjstrydom Glad I found something relevant.
Cannot find the paper I had read with the satellite results of interest shown as graphs in an appendix.
Giving up on the search now.
@maxim_k@cdjstrydom The second has a more readable graph.
Ballpark, from ~1978 to ~1994, looks like the drop in °C for the blue SSU3 curve is ~.075 deg/yr. After 1994 it looks to be ~.035 deg/yr. That's only half as fast a drop rate since 1994 as before 1994.

@Kenneth72712993 Regrettably, now that I have seen these above references, I did not bookmark and now cannot find a relevant paper I came across a few days ago. My brief partial skim indicated (as I recall) that specialized laser measurements showed oxygen to have some GHG properties.
@chimera414@NikolovScience You must be aware that a plague of locusts nearly wiped out the early pioneer settlers in Salt Lake City, Utah. Was that due to global warming also?
Some common sense is called for. Does not the major greening of the planet from CO2, with increased crop yields, count?

@chimera414@NikolovScience That seems a rather harsh and unwarranted condemnation.
There may have been increased rainfall, for whatever reason, contributing to the tragic situation there, but to jump to the conclusion that global warming is to blame flies in the face of the evidence below.
