Love night games. Love the lights. Love the atmosphere. Love watching our players compete.
Not a big fan of waiting around all day for the game to start. ๐๐๐
Go Quakers!

October is a great month. As the temperature cools and each day has a crisp start, you know itโs the middle of football season. Love going out to practice. Love watching film. Love working with our players.
Go Quakers!

One of the great things about Wilmington College is how much the coaches and athletes of all sports support each other. We all want to see each other have success. We all root for each other. It is a tremendously positive and wonderful environment. Go Quakers.

Last night at practice, two thoughts kept running through my head. First, we have great young men in our program. Second, there is no place Iโd rather be than Williams Stadium. I love our players. I love Wilmington college. Living the dream every single day.

Love Mondays during the football season. Each week is a new challenge and new opportunity. It is a fresh start with exciting possibilities. We get to see how much we have learned and grown from our past experiences.
@DubC_Football
There were some great football games yesterday at the Division III level. Had three games on in my office throughout the afternoon and evening. Combined with some live Wilmington College soccer action, it made for a tremendous way to spend the day.

College football coaches seldom have the opportunity to just watch other college football games. Bye weeks are the exception. Last night I watched parts of two NCAA Division III games. Looking forward to watching more D III games today.

๐ Making an impact in our community!
๐ฅ Experience the sights, sounds, quotes, and energy as Wilmington College coaches and student-athletes joined President Cockerill, AD Croci, and Ohio Lt. Gov. Jim Tressel for an unforgettable day!

Just because we have a bye week doesnโt mean we havenโt been working. Our players and coaches are working to improve every day. Practice this afternoon and off tomorrow. Rest and recovery is also part of the plan. Go Quakers!

๐ QUAKERS IN THE COMMUNITY!
Quaker coaches and student-athletes joined President Corey Cockerill and AD Matt Croci at Miami Trace for the Team Tressel Fitness Challenge!
๐ช Our Quakers demonstrated exercises and encouraged students alongside Lt. Gov. Jim Tressel!

The best thing about Wilmington College is the people. We have a tremendous community here.
Interacting with our players, other athletes on campus, all our students, faculty, and staff is the best part of my day. Extraordinarily supportive environment.
@DubC_Football
Honest self reflection is an important tool. It can be hard, for sure, but it is necessary for sustained growth. Without it, we do not improve. With it, we can make course corrections when warranted. Itโs all about moving forward and learning.
@DubC_Football
Each game presents a unique opportunity to build upon past experiences.
We prepare all week to perform well on Saturday. We stress fundamentals, techniques, and mindset. Game days are opportunities to show how much growth we have made as a team.

High school senior athletes. Remember to enjoy it. Donโt worry about what comes next. Build memories that last a lifetime. Representing your high school and community should be a phenomenal experience. Make the most of it.
@DubC_Football
Having an indoor turf facility is such a phenomenal thing. Without it, not sure how much we could have accomplished yesterday when thunderstorms hit during practice. With it, we were able to move forward and get things done. Go Quakers!
@DubC_Football
With effort, energy, and enthusiasm, anything is possible. In addition, effort, energy, and enthusiasm makes things more fun. Without effort, energy, and enthusiasm, life becomes drudgery. Work hard. Have fun. Enjoy the experience.
