One of the things basketball has given me over the years is time to think.
Not during the games. Not when the arena is full but in moments like this.
An empty gym has a way of making you tell yourself the truth. It doesn’t care about your title, your record or what you’ve accomplished. It’s just you and your thoughts.
When I look back on my life, there were seasons when one thought changed everything. One thought gave me the courage to keep going. One thought helped me see a setback differently. One thought reminded me that God wasn’t finished yet.
That’s why I pay attention to what I’m feeding my mind. Because I’ve learned that we’re often just one thought away from a completely different outcome. You get to choose! #OneThought #1Thought
A'ja Wilson is still this seasons MVP in my opinion. She has the best combination of production, efficiency, defense & dominance. Additionally she leads the league in scoring and blocks and is top 5 in rebounds while holding down 3rd in the standings.
You can’t chase something great while being afraid to fail.
“This is a chance of a lifetime. You can’t be afraid to go out and do whatever it takes.” — Pat Summitt
Great competitors don’t shrink from big moments.
They go after them.
a’ja wilson has etched 11 30-point games this season which is almost double than any other player. the team record is 8-3 when she scored 30 points or more.
TRUE TO THIS 😤
Chelsea Gray becomes the first player in WNBA history to hit a game-tying buzzer-beater to end regulation and a game-winning buzzer-beater to end overtime in the same game.
