@LakersLegacyPod I think JJ has to turn to Nick Smith. They need to take some shot creation off of Smart. 8-12 points from Nick Smith in game 2 while Bron and AR got their 2nd winds would have made a difference.
@getnickwright Kennard's mins need to go to Nick Smith. He can go Lonnie Walker. Honestly tho, if Kennard had the heart to take a charge, he has enough gravity to be a plus player, but his "jumping out of the way" and lack of shots makes him a negative.
Luka's game-winner was an instant classic. Reaves' excellence of execution to tie the game was unforgettable. But this LeBron play encapsulates what won last night's game & what's different about the Lakers during this 5 game win streak
Now you see why the term Foundational Black American is so necessary. No other group can claim it or attach themselves to it. Dr. Claud Anderson, the Godfather of Delineation, said it Best.
@LakersLead JJ's response to ball pressure. It wears our ball handlers down. The contenders can all wear these guys down for 4 quarters. You have to scheme them out of that on ball pressure. Pass the ball up; double and triple screens. Don't rely on handles. U have no true pg.
@elonmusk What's the point? During Black American (Freedman/FBA) History month, for an "American" to tweet this, it only sounds like an invalidation of black people enslaved in America "because white people were enslaved more somewhere else." π
@OnlyTheRavens I agree with you that they're overpaid right now. I just think there's a point in which u can increase performance and/or reduce pay to make it balanced again. We do need a younger core, but the LB room is scary young without Ro.
@OnlyTheRavens 9th rank CB in tackling, and top 25% in run support may be poor in OPINION, but it isn't poor in FACT.
I know we like to think 6 turnover run-stopping nickels are a dime/dozen, but I don't think that's the case.
@OnlyTheRavens Every. Single. Snap. His run defense and tackling grades were good, while his coverage grade was down, but I think part of that can be attributed to coaching. These guys rarely looked best positioned to stop an offense, snap to snap. He also ranked 3rd in ints for CBs & had 2 FFs
@VasilisFiamata Marlon and Ro still have juice left. U don't want a squad of no vets, but Marlo is exclusively nickel, and Ro has to lose 12-15lbs. U cannot play Mike at 240 in today's NFL, and u definitely can't do it as u age. 225lbs is the way. Restructure both.
