@CoachMaloney I played at Butler. He came in and closed out a midweek game my freshman year. I get a pinch hit. 3 pitches….Heard the first one go by. Swung at one high, and a whipe out slider to finish me.

It is on the players, but he’s the one who recruits and coaches these guys.

@indyhsscores What is the reasoning behind the only two Indianapolis/Marion County teams in the semi-state (Decatur Central and Lutheran) receiving the least amount of coverage? DC hasn’t had a proper write up from the IndyStar all tournament! Disappointing!!!

They’re not the best HS players from Indiana, and many of them haven’t worked their way through the program. It’s hard to get excited about a team like that.
