For some months now, a number of anthropogenic activities have been halted. I can only imagine how much the earth ๐ has healed from so much damage done to it over the years . #StayAtHomeAndStaySafe#COVID2019Ghana#CoronaLockdown
@eddie_wrt what do you mean no serious injuries. I don't believe it based on the footage I'm seeing. People get thrown off a moving vehicle like this and no serious injuries?
Right now in Ghana, having coins can sometimes feel the same as having no money. Iโve tried using them in shops and a few other places and people simply donโt want to accept them even though theyโre legal tender. At what point did coins quietly stop being money?
I just found something NPP and NDC should probably both be proud of.
In 2008, under NPP, Ghana introduced LEAP to support some of the poorest and most vulnerable people in the country.
It supports people like elderly Ghanaians with no proper support, persons with severe disabilities who cannot work, vulnerable children and some pregnant women and mothers with babies.
It started with just about 1,654 households.
NDC came into power in 2009 and instead of scrapping it, they expanded it.
By 2016, LEAP was supporting about 213,000 households.
NPP returned in 2017 and kept expanding it too.
Today, it supports roughly 350,000 households across Ghana.
So basically, NPP started something good, NDC built on it, NPP came back and built on it again and NDC has kept it going.
I genuinely donโt know why Iโve never really seen both parties congratulate each other for this. This is incredible work by both sides.
Sometimes Ghana actually wins. Maybe our politics just doesnโt know how to celebrate a shared victory. ๐ฌ๐ญ

I know Iโm not the only one who has noticed the growing calls for President Mahama to run for a third term. Iโm neither for nor against the idea. I just have one genuine question.
What has he done that is so extraordinary that people believe changing the Constitution to allow him another term would be worth it? Iโm genuinely interested in hearing the case for it.
The way KNUST students travel abroad after graduation is insane! Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Agric, Engineering, Biological Science, Physics, chale everybody o.
@gilbertmahama Man Utd was my team, then Real Madrid, and I even loved Juventus for a while. I used to revere Ronaldo (Mr Champions League) heavilyโฆ but Messi is the pure embodiment of football with his exploits on the pitch.
@gilbertmahama Granted, even though it had eluded Argentina for nearly 4 decades, I can understand how normal it is for Argentina to win. But do you acknowledge that Ronaldo in his Portugal career had had super world class players that should have aided him to reach the WC final at least?
@gilbertmahama 11/ I their run to the final, he had little contribution in terms of goals and assist which is his major role as a forward. But a true captain is meant ot impact the game on the pitch, not from the control room
@gilbertmahama 10/ Ronaldo's leadership, on the other had has never played a truly decisive role in the major milestones he prides himself on. When Portugal won Euro 2016, Ronaldo was substituted early in the final and spent the match acting as co-manager on the sidelines
