Reminds me of the time I gave a #collegesoccer player a chance to show what he could do last 5 min & he said “naw, it’s okay” & refused to go in
Said he was embarrassed & “Didn’t want to play scrub minutes”

I knew at that moment his focus was ME>WE

I later explained to him that 5 good min can lead to 10 that can lead to 15, 20 etc

Players: Take what you get and MAKE something happen, earn coaches trust 5 min at a time if that’s what you get!
