@CoachDanCasey Every time I watch him in the in game interviews it stands out to me how relaxed he is. I have to imagine that translates to his players. When emotions are high and things aren't going perfectly he stays focused on what needs to be done. His players have to feed off that!
@ryanmiles23 We were blessed with nothing but great QBs every year at Monroe. One year after the other you all stepped up. Excited to see @karsonxmarcum get after it this year too!
@CoachScott34 One of my slots a few years ago hollered at the other teams coach that was in our conference, "U know if you're going to do that stuff we're just gonna run midline!". That coaches response with a wry smile"I know, I know". Proud triple coach moment. I think it was @TreDaniels7
@nate_albaugh I only ask because you don't have a backer over the center as well. I'd see this and cut the nose and be 3 on 2 to wall down the edge. First defender that's a threat vs the triple is 5 yards off the ball. Having the middle backer in the stack over the center creates issues there.
@nate_albaugh Haven't read comments but as a triple guy (assuming this bone look is a triple team) how do you defend against outside veer being this condensed.
@CoachCroyle My HS coach sent me home with a copy of this back in the late 90s. Think it's still in a tote in my basement. 🤣. Did a lot of the same stuff with my players teaching veer.
